“Roosland barefoot creative camp out” weekend

Friday 15th to Sunday 17th September is going ahead as planned.

Camping and van space, parking, compost loo, shower (cold), Fresh water is available.

We are gathering a core steering team to get it underway. We have had some committed offers to head up some of the main tasks but will need some more helpers to work alongside them prior to and on the weekend.

Come for the whole weekend or pop in when you can: family and partners are welcome and well supervised dogs and cats!

Note **What is needed before the weekend is some willing volunteers to work alongside me to help with the practical jobs on the land such as wood chopping, grass strimming, sign making.. I can be flexible with days for this.

 

Please show your interest if you would like to participate practically before or come along on the weekend so we can cater for numbers.

SATURDAY 

 

0730- 0830: Qi Gong with Dave 

Breakfast -lunch prep 

9.30- 10.30: Plant walk and lunch forage with Debbie 

1100 – 1300: Moving from the inside with Karen 

Lunch  

1430 – 1630: Clay play and sculpt with Zilla 

1630: Chill time and dinner prep 

1800 – 1930: Dance with Phil 

Dinner  

Fire and music  

 

SUNDAY

0730 –0830: Yoga with Mo 

Breakfast and lunch prep 

0930 – 1130: Shamanic session with Sue-Claire 

1200 – 1330: Art in the landscape with Hannah 

Lunch  

14.30– 1600:  Dance with Phil

Practical Information

 

Accommodation

 

What is provided: - Flattish ground, hard standing. Some warm shelter, warm open fire, hot water, fresh cold water, compost loo, shower (cold), gas rings for heating things if needed.

 

Bring:  A tent or van and something comfortable to sleep in (on). Torch. Warm and waterproof clothes depending on the weather. Own cutlery, bowl and cup ,glass or water bottle . Something to move in, long trousers.

 

Meals and refreshments

 

Teas and coffees, hot water, milk (Dairy and oat) provided. 

 

So we get the opportunity to cook and eat together there are a few options, with some meals bring to share and some being cooked communally together, provided at a small cost to cover ingredients provided. If you would like one of the provided meals, you need to book in advance (see below for details). 

 

Breakfast can be provided on the Saturday and Sunday mornings at a cost of £3.  If you would like breakfast on either or both days, please email to let me know by Tuesday the 12th Sept (email: roocarter64@gmail.com). 

 

Dinner Friday night and lunches on both days, bring food to share (no need to book in for this). 

 

Saturday night dinner - hot vegetarian meal can be provided at a cost of £4 . If you would like dinner on the Saturday night, please email in advance to let me know by Tuesday the 12th Sept (email: roocarter64@gmail.com). 

 

Sunday evening - leftovers if you are still around helping to clear up (hope some of you are!). 

 

 

Please could you let me know by Tuesday 12th or sooner if you are committed or possibly coming so we have an idea on numbers
