'Spirit of Deer' Workshop in Exeter, 8th December

Elen of the Ways - Lady of the ancient pathways -
One who helps us find the way! It is nearly time to light the lantern and call in the Spirit of Deer.
I'll be running a Workshop, 'Spirit of Deer' at St Katherine's Priory, Exeter on 8th December 2024.
Please do come if you feel the call of Deer at this subtle and sometimes confusing time of year.
I'll be telling old, old stories of these lands. We will meet deer in the half light of fairy-tale; women who learnt about dreams from the deer people from the Highlands of Scotland. Come and meet the ancient Goddess, sometimes called the Callieach. She has been spotted in relatively recent times on Exmoor, herding her deer.
The stories will guide us to the velvety darkness of dreams; a place where subtle sounds and smells might show us, or give us clues about the best path ahead.
You are invited to come with me on a walk through the forest of dreams, to befriend deer at this dark and magical time of the year.
The day will include stories, sharing, meditation, movement and simple ritual.
Lunch to share with community - I will bring a cauldron of home made soup!
Price for the day - on a sliding scale £75-£55 please pay what is affordable for you.
